Sheet2QFX Privacy Policy
Effective 12 October 2026
Sheet2QFX is a Mac app made by kubuzz, llc that converts spreadsheet
(.xlsx) exports of bank transactions into Quicken's .qfx import format.

Your financial data stays on your Mac
Sheet2QFX opens the spreadsheet you choose, shows it to you, and writes the
.qfx file you ask for. All of that happens on your Mac. The contents of your
spreadsheets and the files Sheet2QFX creates are never sent to us or to anyone
else, and the app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash
reporting.
Update checks
Sheet2QFX checks for new versions using the Sparkle update framework. A check
requests a small update feed file from kubuzz.us. As with any web request,
our server can see your network address, and the request carries the app's
name and version and your macOS version. The check does not include your
spreadsheets, your transactions or any information about you. When you accept
an update, the new version is downloaded from our website.
Buying Sheet2QFX
The free 14-day trial runs entirely on your Mac: it needs no account or key and sends nothing to us. If you buy Sheet2QFX from our website:
- Account. You sign in with your email address. We keep that address and your purchase status so we can tell the app what you are entitled to.
- Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe; we do not see or store them. We receive the status of your order.
- Activation. When you activate the app, it sends the activation and an identifier for that device to our server, which replies with your entitlement. We keep the device identifier so we can recognise the devices you have activated. No spreadsheet or transaction data is included.
Children
Sheet2QFX is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
