kubuzz Privacy Policy

This policy covers the kubuzz website at kubuzz.us, which is operated by kubuzz, llc. Each of our apps has its own policy describing what that app does; choose it from the list at the top of this page.
The short version
We collect information needed to operate the website, answer support requests and complete purchases. We also use limited website analytics on the Sheet2QFX product page to understand visits and trial-download clicks. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
To make the site function
- Support requests. If you use the support form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you type, and the product you choose. We use them only to answer you. To limit abuse, the form keeps a short-lived, one-way hash of your network address, not the address itself.
- Signing in. Where the site asks you to sign in, you do so with your email address, and the site keeps a temporary session so you stay signed in.
- Server records. Like any website, our hosting provider's servers receive your network address and the pages you request.
Website analytics
With your permission, we use Umami Cloud on the public Sheet2QFX product page to measure page visits and clicks on its trial-download buttons. Analytics includes the page visited, referring website's origin (without its path or query), browser/device and language information, screen size, approximate location, and which download button was clicked. Umami receives your network address as part of the request to its service and uses it to derive analytics information.
The tracker loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Decline keeps it off, and the site and downloads work either way. You can change or withdraw your choice using Analytics preferences in the Sheet2QFX page footer; withdrawal stops future analytics events. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for 180 days, after which we ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice lasts only for the current page. Withdrawing consent does not erase information already collected.
The tracker does not use analytics cookies. We exclude page query strings and fragments and do not send your email, activation key, account details, spreadsheet filenames or bank transactions to analytics. We do not add this tracker to account, checkout, support or other product pages, and we do not identify signed-in users or enable session replay. The tracker respects the browser's Do Not Track setting. Ad blockers may also prevent measurement.
Our current Umami Cloud plan retains analytics for six months. See Umami's privacy policy for information about its service. Website analytics does not change the app's local spreadsheet processing.
To make a purchase
- Your account. If you buy one of our products, we keep your email address and your order and device-activation status, so the product can tell what you are entitled to.
- Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe; we do not see or store them. We receive the status of your order. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the above work: our hosting provider, our email provider, Stripe and Umami Cloud for the limited analytics described above. We do not share your information with anyone else.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep support messages and account records for as long as they are needed to help you and to honor your purchases. To ask us to delete your information, write to the address below.
Children
Our website and products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
